Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece on Pembroke natives Bob Moore and Martin Brooks, who make traditional Down East fiberglass Pembroke 19 skiffs, designed by the late John Gardner; and a Pembroke 16, also based on a traditional wooden skiff. Not all owners are commercial fishermen; some people buy the boats for recreational use.
