Abstract

"Along the Waterfront" piece on Peter Spectre, former editor of WoodenBoat magazine, who is completing a two-year restoration of a Thames River skiff that was found under a porch on North Haven island. A British expert has praised Peter's skiff as the best-preserved of its type he has ever seen. Spectre's fantasy is to return the skiff to the Thames, where he once took a rowing trip.
