Abstract

"North by East" piece on a state panel that will forward its recommendations to the legislative Transportation Committee. One issue being considered is a new license-plate design. The current plate with its red lobster image was adopted in 1987, after a lobbying campaign by school children. Many people think the scrawny lobster looks more like a crayfish.
