    Abstract

    "North by East" piece on the Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth, which has welcomed guests with pets for almost two years, and has now granted pet privileges to employees as well. Laurie Inness, the hotel's director of sales and marketing, predicts that as increasing numbers of travelers insist on traveling with their pets, hotels will be setting aside pet floors the way they do non-smoking floors now.
