    Abstract

    "North by East" piece on how Maine State Police intend to crack down on speeders this summer in the wake of studies that show a steady increase in average speeds on the state's highways. Between 2000 and 2004, tickets issued to speeders going 26-29 miles above the speed limit increased by 50 percent.
