Abstract

The Hundred Mile Wilderness and other parts of the Appalachian Trail in Maine can be hiked in shorter sections by gaining access from logging roads. With details on six hikes of varying difficulty on the AT in Maine, including Mahoosuc Notch, Saddleback, the Bigelow Range, Moxie Bald Mountain, the Hundred Mile Wilderness, and Katahdin.
