Abstract

"North by East" piece on the 40-year-old Brown's Old-Fashioned Ice Cream shop on Nubble Point in York. Operator Steve Dunne was granted a two-year reprieve when his lease was extended by owner Byron Brown, who founded the business and had talked of selling the desirable property.
