Abstract

Singer Carol Noonan and her husband Jeff Flagg opened the Stone Mountain Arts Center and restaurant in Brownfield in 2006 and have since lured big names to their out-of-the-way location. Musicians praise both the expansiveness of the vaulted center and its 200-seat intimacy. Lucinda Williams called the crowd at her show, "one of the best audiences I've ever played for." Noonan and Flagg make the musicians feel at home with warm hospitality and gourmet comfort food.
