Abstract
The Kennebec Estuary Land Trust has preserved 1,738 acres from Bowdoinham to Georgetown, despite the fact that Bath Iron Works is located in the middle of its 24-mile reach. It is the largest tidal estuary north of the Hudson River and is home to five endangered or threatened species.
