Abstract
Five pieces of trivia about the Portland Sea Dogs baseball team, which is coming off its best win-loss record in the team’s history and winner of the Eastern League East Division in 2014. Trivia includes: the team has had five names; Kathy Lee Gifford sang the national anthem on opening day of the Sea Dogs inaugural season; the current manage, Billy McMillon, was also a Sea Dogs player; Slugger, the team’s mascot is a harbor seal and was designed by the cartoonist of the Nancy comic strip; and last year Slugger walked 114 miles to raise money to fight Tourette Syndrome.
