Abstract

Very brief article describing the Fisherman Feeding Mainers program, a response to the severe economic downturn faced by fishermen early in the coronavirus pandemic. Discusses the inception of the program through the help of an anonymous donor and the Maine Coast Fishermen's Association, and how it provides locally caught and processed fish to various Maine school lunch programs, the state's Wabanaki Tribes, and food-assistance groups.
