Abstract

An article presenting the Maine Tasting Center in Wiscasset, a venue dedicated to promoting Maine-produced beverages and food. Describes how founders Andrew, Elizabeth, and Sara Gross parlayed their interest in local drinks into the current concern: a tasting room specializing in Maine beers and wine, a classroom for food- and beverage-related classes, and a proposed exhibition area which will feature trade groups such as the Maine Brewers Guild.
