Abstract

Brief article describing efforts by Colby college to revitalize Waterville's downtown. Explains how the college has begun rebuilding its presence in Waterville, particularly with the launch of an "arts collaborative" space that will host exhibitions, concerts, etc. and will provide work space for artists in residence. Also mentions the Paul J. Schupf Arts Center, a project by Colby and Waterville Creates and future home of Railroad Square Cinema.
