Abstract
A profile of Unity College's president, Melik Peter Khoury, and an examiniation of how he is changing the school that has been called "America's Environmental College." Long known as a school that got students out into the woods and fields, Khoury has moved most classes online, laid off full-time professors, and expanded the college's geographic reach. Many students and alumni are not pleased with the new corporate vibe and have demanded Khoury's resignation. Khoury defends his decision to move to online pedagogy, citing its egalitarian nature and financial necessity.
