Abstract

Knox County's Area Interfaith Outreach (AIO) runs a food pantry in Rockland. It stocks fresh produce and locally roasted coffee, among other food items, and serves more than 100 families. It has partnered with the Maine State Prison and Camden's Page Gallery in a fundraising effort for the food pantry. Residents at the Prison turned wooden bowls in the prison's workshop which were then used by local artists as canvases for their art. The decorated bowls will be auctioned off to raise money for the food pantry.
