Abstract

The story of the rise and fall of the paper mill in Madison, coupled with the tale of TimberHP, a new Maine-based company taking over the mill to produce eco-friendly wood-fiber insulation. Describes the economic void left in Madison by the mill's 2016 closure, and hopes that a revitalized mill will mean a revitalized community.
