Abstract

The Portland Farmers' Market is held every Wednesday from late April through November in Monument Square, and every Saturday in Deering Oaks Park. The thirty or so farmers who market their produce include Frank Beckwith and his brother Carlton of Yarmouth's Beckwith Gardens; Donald Beckwith of Cumberland Center's Meadowood Farm; and James and Robin Beckwith of Yarmouth, who do their growing at Rang Pond Farm.
