Abstract

The Old York Historical Society, founded in 1984 when three local historical groups merged, opens all the houses in its trust to the public from June to September. The inventory of buildings includes Jefferds Tavern, the Elizabeth Perkins House, the Old Gaol, the Hancock Warehouse and the Emerson-Wilcox House.
