Abstract
James Browning Wyeth, 46, owns both a 300-acre island between Monhegan and the mainland and a 20-acre island complete with a decommissioned lighthouse. The islands provided the inspiration for some of his Maine paintings, which are featured in "Jamie Wyeth: Islands," showing at the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland from June 27 through August 22.
