Abstract
The growth of sea kayaking is causing Maine island owners to worry that intrusive hordes will descend on their shores. Kayaker Margaret Emerson, owner of Sheep Island, recommends that non-motorized boaters "wing it," selecting island campsites as they go, merely using reasonable courtesy to owners of uninhabited islands.
