    Abstract

On June 11, South Portland voters will be asked to authorize the city to borrow $996,000 to help purchase Bug Light for use as a park. If they do, the prime waterfront property next to the light will be forever preserved. Despite its history of industrial use, the site appears to pose no environmental risks.
