Abstract

Sea Dog Brewing Co. was founded almost 10 years ago, and its label, Shipyard Brewery, brews almost half the beer in Maine. Owners Fred Forsley and Alan Pugsley's latest enterprise, Sea Dog Ventures, Inc., bought Sea Dog Brewing in its bankruptcy trial. All three of Sea Dog's brewpubs had closed, but its bottled beers are profitable. Details.
