Abstract

"Business Maine: Central & Western" piece on the success of the $9.6 million "It must be Maine" ad campaign promoting Maine tourism. New York-based Warren Kremer Paino launched the campaign. The agency was at the center of controversy in the fall of 2002, when members of Maine's advertising industry mounted a protest over the selection of an out-of-state firm for the tourism contract.
