Abstract

"Business Maine: Central & Western" piece on the recent approval by the Lewiston City Council to spend $4.7 million to buy the Central Maine Civic Center from Roger Theriault. The bailout was designed to prevent the new hockey franchise, the Maineacs, from leaving town. The team complained that Teriault failed to make promised improvements to the rink.
