    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Midcoast & Downeast" piece confirming that Atlantic Salmon of Maine, one of the state's largest salmon companies, has been put up for sale. Jeffrey Thaler, an attorney for Atlantic Salmon, said negotiations are currently moving forward with potential buyers, and that an employee buyout is a possibility. In the last four years, Atlantic Salmon has endured a lawsuit, natural disasters and regulations prompted by the Endangered Species Act.
