    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Northern" piece on the recent announcement by Toronto-based Nexfor Inc., owner of the Nexfor Fraser Papers mill in Madawaska, that it will split into two independent companies. The announcement worried some town officials, but company officials assured them that there would be no changes for most employees. The Madawaska mill will be part of a specialty papers and timberland business known as Fraser Papers Inc., while Nexfor's wood-based panelboard business will be known as Norbord Inc.
