Abstract

Glenn Gaudin's Portland Piano Exchange & Violin Shop on Congress Street is greater Portland's only used piano dealer and southern Maine's only violin shop. Although Gaudin is largely self-taught and got into the piano business as a mover, he is an expert on the arts of violin and piano making. He cuts his own red maple, which is sought after worldwide, for violins.
