Abstract

For 20 years, Ken Kantro was in business by himself at Lovell Designs in Lovell, Portland, and Damariscotta. But two years into his partnership with George Crockett and Sara Stockwell, he is happier, more productive, and has more time for designing. Kantro's 1979 "Damariscotta" design won numerous awards, was exhibited at the Smithsonian Museum, and made his work well-known.
