Abstract

"Focus on Marketing" piece, with an interview with Mel Warren, of Portland-based Warren Marketing Group, about the state's three-month tax amnesty program. Warren's company landed the contract to market the campaign after marketing the state's previous tax amnesty program in 1990. Warren speaks of both campaigns, what he learned from the first program, and the likely results of this program, which began Sept. 11 and had garnered $8.4 million in back taxes by Oct. 11.
