    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Southern" piece reporting that Biddeford-based Great Works Internet (GWI) is standing by claims about its high-speed Internet service, despite threats of a lawsuit from competitor Time Warner Cable. The issue began when GWI posted results of an independent study which found GWI's DSL Internet service is 32 percent faster than Time Warner's Road Runner cable-modem service. Time Warner responded that the test results are false, but GWI asserts that the results were accurate, and has posted a defense of its methodology on its website.
