Abstract
"Newsworthy" piece reporting on Mike Tetreault, the new director of the Maine chapter of The Nature Conservancy, who succeeds the successful director Kent Wommack. One of Tetreault's first projects will be conserving a 12,000-acre tract of land around Mt. Agamenticus in York County that is controlled by some 50 different landowners. He worked previously with the conservancy in Colorado. He hopes to regain support for the Land for Maine's Future Program, which recently lost state funding.
