"Focus on Lewiston-Auburn" piece on Encompass Marketing and Design in Auburn. Candace Sanborn, marketing partner, focuses on nonprofits and has joined with five other communications companies to form MaineSpring Collaborative to cater exclusively to nonprofits at discounted rates. Many nonprofits don't pay for marketing or they use someone in-house or on their board of directors. One in eight Maine employees works for a nonprofit, so the market is potentially large. The other members of MaineSpring include Portland-based Fletcher Media, The Pitman Group in Lewiston, Deximer in Bethel, Innovative Writing Solutions in Machiasport, and Gary Friedman & Associates in Bar Harbor.
