Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the success of Maine's senators in achieving the first step in increasing federal funding for small-business programs that face cuts under President Bush's proposed budget. The funds were added to the Fiscal Year 2006 Budget Resolution, a blueprint for the next fiscal year. Sen. Olympia Snowe authored the amendment.
