    Abstract

    Business Maine: Midcoast & Downeast" piece reporting that the Rockland-based Island Institute will sell six Maine islands to conservation groups in order to focus on its mission of protecting working waterfronts and island communities. The Chewonki Foundation and the Maine Coast Heritage Trust will pay $1.5 million for the six islands, with plans to preserve four of the islands for public use.
