    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Northern" piece reporting that Jim Dennehy, a California developer, is exploring options for building a resort on a 3,500-acre piece of land near Norton Pond in Brownville. The resort would include a 550-room four-star hotel, convention and conference centers, spa facility, golf course and three restaurants. Plans also call for 400 time-share units. In a unique twist, the plan envisions the bulk of guests arriving at The Reserve at Norton Pond by train from Bangor.
