Abstract
The new Portland-South Portland bridge is expected to decrease traffic on Waterman Drive and Ocean Street from 30,000 vehicles a day to less than 2,000. Speculation about the future of businesses in the Mill Creek-Knightville area of South Portland is intense. Businesses are scrambling for space in the Mill Creek Shopping Center, which was half-empty only two years ago. Details.
