Abstract

Maine boat builders, potato farmers, and other industries hope the near parity of the Canadian and U.S. currencies will bring Canadian buyers to Maine and keep some U.S. buyers from crossing the border. Many American manufacturers have long complained that their Canadian counterparts have had an unfair price advantage.
