Abstract

"Focus on " piece on Lance Dutson, 33, a blogger and Web designer from Searsmont who started a furor after criticizing the Maine Office of Tourism and the efforts of its New York agency, Warren Kremer Paino Advertising (WKP) on his Maine Web Report. The tourism office fired off an angry email to Dutson. WKP sued for defamation, but withdrew the suit after blogs picked up the spat, and tourism officials ordered WKP to withdraw the suit.
