    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Southern" piece reporting that Cadillac Mountain Sports, a Bar Harbor-based sporting goods retailer, recently said it will close its three retail locations in Portland because of declining sales. Matthew Curtis, company president, also said the ban on formula businesses enacted by the Portland City Council in November played a role in the company's decision. The ban was originally adopted to stop a potential Hooter's restaurant from opening downtown.
