    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Northern" piece reporting that the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) recently approved a $1 million economic recovery loan for Red Shield Environmental LLC, the company that in November acquired the former Georgia-Pacific mill in Old Town. The loan will help finance Red Shield's current operational needs, which include supplying electricity to the grid using the plant's biomass and hydroelectric facilities.
