Abstract

Edited transcripts of interviews with five night shift workers, detailing the pros and cons of working nonstandard hours. Those interviewed include Dan Michaud, second shift supervisor at Kennebec Tool & Die in Augusta; Neal Mason, traffic coordinator with Pike Industries in Belmont, N.H.; Steve McGrath, clinical supervisor and respiratory therapist at Maine Medical Center in Portland; Liz McDorr, customer service representative at L.L. Bean in Freeport; and Patrick Lally, a sergeant with the Westbrook Police Department.
