Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on a congressional bill co-sponsored by Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine, that would give Maine an additional $32 million in federal funds for its unemployment insurance program. The bill would help fund better support programs for workers in transition and be funded by extending a federal unemployment tax surtax scheduled to end this year.
