Abstract

"Capitol Update" piece on the slow growth of Maine's exports, up slightly more than half a percent at the end of August, compared with growth of 13.72 percent at the same time last year. This despite healthy growth nationwide. The largest effect comes from a 7 percent decrease in exports to Canada, Maine's largest trading partner.
