    Abstract

    "Business Maine: Midcoast & Down East" piece reporting that some Harpswell residents plan to offer the town $2 million to restrict commercial use of 118 acres of waterfront property. The Harpswell Coastal Coalition wants to prohibit heavy industry from the Mitchell Field site and planned to present its $2 million offer to town selectmen later this month. East Boothbay tugboat maker Washburn & Doughty considered relocating to the site last year, but encountered local opposition and scrapped its plans.
