Abstract
"Step Ahead." Although petroleum is the most common product at the Port of Portland's Merrill Marine Terminal, the Greek ship Ghikas recently offloaded 500 tons of tapioca. About 2,000 tons of tapioca come through the port every year and are driven to the National Starch processing plant in Island Falls.
