Abstract

"The Third Sector" piece on Maine's leadership programs, including the Maine Development Foundation's statewide Leadership Maine program and the Greater Portland Area Institute for Civic Leadership, as well as regional programs modeled on these early programs, now 15 and 16 years old, respectively. The aggregate list of alumni from all these programs creates an impressive "who's who" roster of leaders in the state.
