Abstract

"Focus on environment" piece on Brunswick's eWaste Recycling Solutions, formerly EWS New England, which collects and recycles electronic waste. The company, under CEO Rick Dumas, took over the Maine accounts of New Hampshire-based RMG Enterprise and changed its name this April. A Maine law that is being contested allows the state to bill manufacturers for the cost of recycling their TVs and computer monitors, which can contain mercury and lead. In an interview, Dumas discusses the RMG accounts and explains his operations.
