Abstract
Doug Hall, inventor, entrepreneur, and University of Maine alumnus, will move from Ohio to the University of Maine to teach two courses as part of the Innovation Engineering minor he helped create. During his career, he has been a consultant for large companies and has won awards for his techniques to catalyze, identify and commercialize creative ideas. He charges $50,000 a day on the lecture circuit, but will donate his time. He would like to create similar programs internationally that would use UMaine as a faculty training ground.
