Abstract

Bruno Tropeano and Josh Davis, both in their 20s, own the successful Gelato Fiasco in Brunswick and supply their "hot process," made-from-scratch gelato to outlets in Maine and Portsmouth. They offer about 25 flavors a day, making them unique among homemade glelato-makers. Though the recession dampened their start-up, the business had a banner summer, serving customers drawn to the intensely-flavored Italian-style ice cream.
