Abstract

"Focus Energy" Milestones piece on Efficiency Maine and its development since becoming independent one year ago after separating from the Maine Public Utilities Commission. Executive Director Michael Stoddard feels that this transformation led to a record year in which the organization assisted 1,700 Maine business locations with energy upgrades, helped boost the economy with its energy-efficiency programs, and "...achieved the most energy and dollar savings for Maine businesses in one year than we ever have."
